Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-04-15T11:53Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-04-15T11:53:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
Ha: Bright emission (likely H-alpha emission)
HAL: Halo CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
LS: Loop and Shock Candidate
Note: Fast CME to the W/NW in STEREO A COR2 imagery appearing more as a partial halo to the W/NW in GOES CCOR-1 imagery. There is currently a data gap for this event in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 imagery. The source is a filament eruption visible along the limb of STEREO A EUVI 304 imagery as well as in GOES SUVI 304 to the NW starting around 2026-04-15T11:15Z with associated moving/opening field lines in GOES SUVI 284 and STEREO A EUVI 195. Using available Solar Orbiter imagery, it appears the source may be near N05W150 (possibly AR 14409).

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
